Is it hard to replace a sumersible sump pump?

I need to know do I have to hire someone or is it an easy job.
The motor is dead and I need to just get a new one.

It depends on how deep it is and what type of hose or pipe it is connected too. If you can get to it easily, unplug the power cord, disconnect the hose or pipe and buy a new unit that has the same size of hose or pipe fitting as the old unit.

I clean my pump in our Koi pond about every month and replace it when it fails.
