Kitchen Cabinet Renovation

We decided to take down our cabinets, remove the false panel above them and put them back up at the ceiling edge. This may be too high for most people but the members of my family are tall and those few that aren't, use a step ladder.

We were going to repaint the cabinets but were told that it was a good Oak hard wood and that they just needed to be sanded, lacquered and sealed. Check out the pictures and see if you like the finished product as much as we do.
