What is the difference between these fuses: 5amp (24v) and 5amp (32v)?

Hello,
I need to replace a 5 amp fuse. My A/C has a 24v circuit board. I went to Radio Shack and they don't sell 5 amp fuses for 24v, instead they only have a 5amp 32v fuse (same as the car uses).

Do you think if I install the 5amp 32v fuse will damage the circuit board?

ANSWER

You can use a 32v 5amp fuse for a 24v 5 amp application, but not the other way. The voltage is the maximum voltage the fuse can be used with, therefor a 32v fuse can be used in a 24v application.
